Gráinne Clear is the Editorial Director for Fiction at Walker Books, working with the 6+ team on children’s, teen and young adult fiction. Her authors include Patrick Ness, Angie Thomas, Caroline O’Donoghue, Jonathan Stroud, Pádraig Kenny, Claire Powell and Alasdair Beckett-King. She was previously Publishing Manager and Art Director at Little Island Books, an independent Irish children’s publisher. She has also written and hosted two children’s book programmes for RTÉ Radio, was president of IBBY Ireland and a board member of Publishing Ireland.
