YALC (the Young Adult Literature Convention) today announces the first of the incredible authors due to take part in the upcoming two-day YA event on November 11-12 at Olympia, London. YALC ambassadors Holly Bourne, Juno Dawson, Simon James Green, Katherine Webber & Cat Doyle will be joined by many other stellar writers, including debut author Jay McGuiness from The Wanted and Strictly Come Dancing fame.

“BLOOD FLOWERS is his explosive debut YA novel, and McGuiness will be appearing at the Young Adult Literature Convention (YALC) in November to give readers an early insight into his writing.” – Scholastic

YALC attracts thousands of visitors every year and is a must-attend date in the diary for YA and fiction fans. A huge array of YA authors from across the world will be flocking to London this year to be part of this long-standing literary event. Zoe Finch, Event Director for Showmasters Events, said: “We are very pleased to announce such a diverse array of authors; we like to be able to offer opportunities to debut authors and YALC veterans alike, and this year is no different.”

Further guest authors will be announced in the coming weeks including the programming content for the ever-popular YALC workshops and industry activities that will be taking place in the returning agents arena.
